Families, Schooling and Recreation - This 15
minute movie discusses life and roles in pioneer families,
pioneer schooling and early modes of transportation, and
the importance of recreation and social connections during
pioneer times. |

Communities-
This 10 minute movie discusses how pioneer communities changed
over time to meet the needs of the people who lived in them.
It also discusses how the influx of people brought new services
to communtities, making them more attractive to future residents.
The impact of technology on the changes in a community are
also presented. |

Immigration
and Settlement - This
30 minute movie discusses the various reasons why people
immigrated to Canada and on to Saskatchewan. The presentation
contains many excerpts from "real" immigration
stories published on the Pier21.ca website. |
