The eZine - Group

In this project, you and your partners will create an eZine and publish it on the web. The must site contain a home page, at least two articles per person, and graphics and buttons that you generate.

Talk Radio Theme Day - Group

In this project, you and your partners will create 2 hours of talk radio programming that revolve around a news theme of your choice. You need to include advertising, interviews, music and profiles.

The School Newspaper - Group

You and your partners will create 20 pages worth of student news in one or two editions. The pages must include proper layout, interviews, features, sports stories, hard news, and advertising.

Photojournalism Portfolio - Group

You and a partner will create a digital portfolio for your work and post that portfolio on the web. The work must include a photo profile or photo essay, and must be supported in a digital format that reflects the spirit of the portfolio.

Investigative Journalism - Group

You will create 40 minutes of television footage in the form of an investigative journalism show (like the W5). You will need an anchor, a producer, and reporters or videographers.

Freelance Magazine Writer - Individual

You will conduct research about submission requirements and conduct market research. Then you will write a minimum of five articles and submit them a minimum of ten times to published magazines.

Feature Reporter - Individual

You will create a profile of a person or group in your community through a feature segment for a local nightly news television broadcast. You will create a minimum of 20 minutes worth of footage.

My Way - Putting the Puzzle Together

This is the page where you complete "My Way", a project that you have worked on in each Module throughout the year. "My Way" allows you to track your learning and show what you have accomplished. In Task Three - Stretching Out, you write a literary journalism piece about your experiences and revise your Task Two work.
