Task

Your job is to create a portfolio of images hosted by a web site.

You create a photojournalism portfolio including:

• a minimum of 20 images forming an essay or profile (see links page for samples)
• a theme for the web site that matches the theme of the photographs
• a web site that includes thumbnails, full size photographs and captions
• at least three web pages
• navigation
• a page on the process of taking the pictures and composing the web portfolio

You may also include:

• audio narrative
• animation
• external links

Look at the page on the timeline and deadlines to see what you should do on a daily basis to complete your project.

Group Composition

• 2 people
• both work as photojournalists and web designers

Your photo essay or profile is designed to reveal both depth of understanding and diversity of understanding through pictures.

Objectives

• all On Assignment projects have some common objectives
• Photojournalism Portfolio has some specific objectives for just this project
• you must meet the objectives to obtain a good mark on the project
