Photojournalism Presentation Guidelines
Module 3 - On Assignment Group Project

(Photojournalism student page / Photojournalism teacher page)

The goal of your presentation is to profile the best things about your photojournalism project to others in the class. You are not trying to present everything you did. Rather, you structure your presentation to answer the required questions. You do not need to state each question and the response. Try weaving the information into the natural flow of the presentation.

Presentation Requirements:

  • 8-10 minute presentation
  • Formal introduction and conclusion
  • Questions on the right answered
  • Ask for any questions or feedback when your project is complete
  • Presentation has lots of eye contact - no reading
  • All group members play a significant role in the presentation
  • Show a set of images and explain how they are related
  • Discuss how the web design is visually powerful and related to the images

Required questions:

  • What is the theme of your project and how did you incorporate it into your project?
  • What are the three best things about your project?
  • What is one problem you solved and how did you solve it?
  • What would you still change if you had more time?
  • Which image is the strongest and why?
  • What is the theme of your work?
