and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

with no narration?
3.

in skipping.
4.

it?
The
pictures and text are overlapping and I can't read most
of the information. Can I fix this?
Yes.
It is likely that your font size is set to large. From your
tool bar at the top of your browser screen, select VIEW
- TEXT SIZE - and select MEDIUM or SMALLER. See the illustration
below. Once you select a smaller text size the web page
should no longer overlap.

The
movie is so slow! Is it suppose to have such long periods
with no narration?
No.
The network could be bogged down with other users or technical
problems. If you feel it is an Internet connection issue
(other sites don't work either), contact the Help Desk.
OR
Your computer may not have the processing power to handle
the movie. Try playing it on your schools' multimedia computer
to see if it comes across properly. If it does, consider
wheeling your multimedia cart into your room, connecting
to the Internet, and running it off of the faster machine.
The movies are big files and are the only component on this
site that you may need a faster machine to play.
A
red square shows up while viewing the movie and narration
in skipping.
This
is likely an indication that your computer doesn't have
the processing power to view the movie correctly. Again,
try using your school's multimedia computer.
I
want to print some photos from the gallery. How do I do
it?
Once
you are in the gallery of thumbnails, you can print the
page of thumbnails. If you would like a larger image, click
the image of your choice. It will appear on its own page,
full size. Put your mouse over the image and an icon will
appear with a disk, printer, envelope and file folder. To
save the picture, click the disk. To print the picture,
click the printer, and so forth. See image below.
If the image is on the screen but not all of it can be seen,
use your scroll tabs on the side and bottom to move the
image around.
