Use
the Literature Lists
Use
the lists of literature to borrow books from
the libraries that will act aas a great springboard for discussing math
and what is taking place in the story all with the comfort of a bedtime
story! Make learning about math comfortable and fun. Please note that
any books listed as NELSON BOOKS are part of the school program and you
could ask your child's teacher for access to them if they have them in
the school.
Make
Learning Fun
The
section that lists online activities for
students consists of games, wordsearches, activities that are fun for
students to do online! If your child is studying addition, find the online
activities for addition and let them spend sometime completing them. Again,
its a good idea to sit with your child and discuss things as you go initially
to keep frustration levels low and the activity enjoyable.
