UNIT FOUR - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Aboriginal Achievement awards are held every year in Canada to recognize the accomplishments of Aboriginal peoples in various walks of life. These people have all made contributions to the Aboriginal community as well as Canadian society. The various
winners come from the arts, the field of science, as well as the
business community. The awards also recognize the contributions
of young Aboriginal people in Canada today.
ACTIVITIES 1. Read about four individuals who have won the award in the area of Business, Commerce and Energy over the last four years.
