Kindergarten and grade one teachers are always asking for suggested websites to get their students started on the computer. This site was designed with those little ones in mind.

The majority of the suggested sites offer some degree of narration to allow the students more independence when at the computer. We have tried to select only sites that are free of distractions (pop ups and adverting), and sites that have relatively simple navigation systems. In addition, where some reading is required we have tried to keep the reading at a grade one level or lower. We hope you are able to make use of some of these online activities!

We still encourage teachers to spend some time with the students introducing them to the computer and its components (mouse, keyboard, and common keys they may need to use). And, we encourage teachers to model what is expected of the students while participating in particular activities. Please read our HOW TO section for additional suggestions.
