• Saskatchewan Sports and Games Crossword Puzzle - Give it a try! Using clues can you guess the names of popular sports and games played in the early 1900's?
• Online Research Activity: Toy Timeline This activity will introduce you to several pioneer toys from the Bladon Family Collection held at the Saskatchewan Western Development Museum. You will be required to visit several web sites to gather information on various toys. You do not need to visit all of the suggested web sites. You will be given a chance to select which toys you would like to research. The information you collect will be used to create the final activity, a Toy Timeline. Data Collection Sheet Required.

Good Times: A Survey of Saskatchewan Games and Sports
This 13 minute presentation reviews sports and games of the early 1900's. Students will understand the importance of social activities in early prairie life and will learn the origin of various activities as well. Content and images provided by the Saskatchewan Western Development Museum. There is also a Crossword and Word search based on this movie.
