activities are downloadable activities that will allow you
practice angles and line concepts AWAY from the computer.

activities. You will need to have access to a printer. Each
activity represents the concepts for angles and lines introduced
by grade level. If you are in a higher grade you might use
the others as review material.

Chart:Students must complete a chart to demonstrate
their understanding of the relationships between the
units of the metric system and the measurements of
length, area, total surface area, volume, mass and
capacity.
Canadian
Time Zones: This activity familiarizes students
with the time zones within Canada and the difference
between winter time zones and summer time zones. Two
PDF maps are required as a resource when doing this
activity. Students may also require an Atlas. (Please

World
Time Zones: This activity familiarizes students
with world time zones. Students examine the correlation
between degrees longitude and time. This activity
requires an Atlas.

the last section based on applying the knowledge covered
in the first part of the informational resource section.
