FLASH LEARNING OBJECTS: ANGLES

What is a Flash Learning Object?
Flash Learning Objects are learning activities or movies created in a program called Flash. These Learning Objects require a Flash Player for viewing. Some of the Flash Learning Objects may include some aspects of interactivity, while others may run more like a movie that students watch to gain an understanding of a particular concept.

Flash Learning Objects for Angles

  • Lines and angles - This extended Flash object provides an overview of many of the line and angle concepts for Gr. 6-9. Included is a demonstration on the use of a protractor. Each discrete object is given a brief introduction followed by an animated presentation. Users can move back and forth in the main timeline and repeat any of the individual animations.
  • Online Flash Card and Games - these activities can provide valuable review. They are hosted by Quia.com and may require registration.
  • Quiz #1 - A short online quiz that covers the lines and angles concepts for the Gr. 6, 7 and bit of Gr. 8. Most questions permit a second attempt when an error is made. When complete, the student is given a score.
