PRINTABLE LEARNING ACTIVITIES: CAPACITY/MASS/TIME

What is a Printable Learning Activity?
Printable Learning Activities are activities that can be downloaded from the internet to your own computer for printing. These activities are aimed at helping students learn particular math concepts AWAY from the computer. These activities may include math centres, practice sheets, or major projects that focus on covering particular math objectives.

These files are available to you in both the WORD (.doc) and PDF format so that you can take the printable activity as is (PDF) or take it in a form that you can easily modify (DOC)to suit your own needs.

Conversion Chart (GM 81):Students must complete a chart to demonstrate their understanding of the relationships between the units of the metric system and the measurements of length, area, total surface area, volume, mass and capacity. Conversion Chart Conversion Chart
Canadian Time Zones: This activity familiarizes students with the time zones within Canada and the difference between winter time zones and summer time zones. Two PDF maps are required as a resource when doing this activity. Students may also require an Atlas.
