site has been developed to assist teachers, students
and parents with resources to support language learning.

believe that children and youth can discover, develop and

A
few facts about language learning:
- Language
development takes time and practice at any age.
- Learning
language requires more than memorizing rules and formulas.
- Conversational
English will develop first, usually 1 to 2 years.
- Academic
English may take between 5 to 7 years to develop.
