Welcome to Kindergarten Resources

This site was designed to provide Saskatoon Public School Division's kindergarten teachers with thematic resources that can be used in planning kindergarten themes. We have searched high and low to gather some strong resources, and we have enlisted the assistance of some kindergarten teachers to evaluate what we have created. We hope kindergarten teachers find some dynamic ideas to incorporate into their classroom teaching. We also have a section, For Teachers, where we list information about specific kindergarten initiatives, teacher resources for classroom administration, and classroom organization.

In some cases, we have uncovered some rather dynamic tools. Please familiarize yourself with this legend.

Just for Kids

A companion site was also designed specifically for kindergarten students.
Just for Kids was designed to be simple for kindergarten students to use independently after some initial modeling of how the site works. Choices are limited and environmental print and familiar images are use to assist students in making their way around the site independently.

Just for Kids focuses on the basics of numbers, letters, stories, music and suggested kid-friendly sites can be found under "Just for Fun."
