Early Readers -
Starfall Online Stories - These stories operate much
like the LeapPad readers in that you can click on any word
and have it read to you, and in some cases, sounded out. - I'm
Reading - Starfall's Library. Some of the stories allow
you to print the story after you are done in the format
of a follow up activity. Some of the plays allow you to
print the script and an activity to use as a follow up to
the online adventure.

Clifford Stories and Activities - Kids can click on
the speaker to have the story read to them and they can
select words to create their own story.
- BBC
- The
Little Animals Activity Centre - These stories have
narration and ask kids to click on items to help the story
progress.

Circle: More narrated stories for children.
ABC's
and 123's
- Starfall
- Mini movies and activities for each letter of the alphabet.
This site is perfect to use with one computer in the classroom.
Consider the following: each morning/week, gather round
(or use a projector) and select the letter to study. Let
the star student do the online activities associated with
each lesson. Easy to integrate into much of what you already
do while introducing students to computers at the same time!
These are quick lessons but very well done and you can replay

ABC Printouts - A student activity sheet for each letter
of the alphabet that is related to the movies and activities
in the movies.)

Singing
and Music Games
- BBC
Sing a Song and Music Games: Kids can sing a long with
various tunes or make their own.
- PBS
Songs: A comprehensive list of educational songs (with
lyrics) and video clips that kids will really enjoy! Some
of these songs would be quite funny to perform at assemblies
as well. (Quick Time or real Player Required).
