Hands On Exploration

  • Virtual Manipulatives & Online Board Games:
    If you need access to base ten blocks, hundreds charts, or some other type of manipulative - take a peek in our collection to see if we have a virtual version of it for your use in the classroom or at home.
  • Online Activities to reinforce math concepts for students. These activities are sorted by math subject to make it very easy to find exactly what you need.

  • Mental Math Strategies: It is important that most students have mastery of basic facts. It is equally important that they make sense of number combinations as they are learning these facts. Here are some strategies to help with this understanding.
  • Printable Resources and Manipulatives: These printables include activities to be completed away from the computer, support documents and manipulatives such as hundreds charts, cut-out base ten blocks, plave value charts and so forth.
  • Printable Game Boards: Have students play games that will assist in reinforcing mathematical concepts. Great for math centres and home-based activities.
