Overview

This EPIC (Elementary Professional Inquiry Cycle) website has been designed as a tool to enhance teacher and student learning in the area of literacy as part of the Literacy for Life initiative.

Elementary teachers identified two areas of student and professional learning needs: reading comprehension and the reading/writing connection. Teachers enrolled in the strand of learning most pertinent to student achievement in their classroom. The EPIC website was designed as a professional development tool to guide teachers through a professional inquiry into one question within their chosen strand.
