- It's
Up for Debate! - Debates are a staple of middle and high school social
studies classes. Education World offers five debate strategies and extra lessons
for students of all ages. Included: Debate fairy tale ethics, use four corner
and inner/outer circle strategies, more!
- Moving
Toys
- Students will investigate a collection of moving toys, then plan, design
and make a moving toy based on previously discussed criteria. At the end of
the lessons students will present their toy to the class as a seminar, explaining
the outcomes and highlights of the construction process.

techniques to share experiences and retell a range of stories on to audio
tape. This unit could be adapted for any level.
