Description
In
this unit, students read stories, poems, articles, interviews, and
speeches about preserving the environment for future generations.
Specifically, the students study how countless forms of life are linked in
ecosystems, how environmental damage is rarely easy to repair, and
how people are working to undo the damage and foster respect for the earth.They
look for examples of the positive steps being taken to restore and
preserve our natural surroundings and resources.
