A Curriculum - Activities for Exploring the Idea and Essential Qualities of
Heroes
- includes activities and discussion points for exploring heroic character
qualities and examples of heroism. It also helps students understand that
anyone can be a hero and inspire others. This is a PDF file.
- Heroes
Around Us - In this lesson, students collaboratively define heroism and
discover that heroes can be everyday people who perform brave and noble deeds,
often in service to others. Readings and reports on the lives of those honored
as heroes reinforce the concept that anyone can become a hero.
