Saskatchewan
Centennial 2005
- Get ready - for the biggest party in Saskatchewan's history!Together,
we celebrate 100 years of heart in 2005. Saskatchewan is an
extraordinary community of people known worldwide for creativity,
generosity, ingenuity and that unique spirit that pioneered
our province.Looking
back to 1905 on our rich, proud heritage - and forward to our
bright, exciting future - it's our moment to bask in the glow
of 100 candles.
The
Spirit of 2005 is a project of Saskatchewan Centennial
and Saskatchewan’s radio broadcasters to recognize people who
make a difference in our province. We are looking for the stories
of ordinary people who do extraordinary things to make Saskatchewan
great. It is our objective to recognize as many people as possible.
The Spirit of 2005 is not a contest. When we receive your story
we will post it on this website and send a certificate of recognition
to the person you’ve told us about. A representative sample
of these stories will be produced as radio vignettes to be broadcast
on all of Saskatchewan’s privately operated radio stations in
the next year.
