The Saskatoon Public School Division is offering students the opportunity to take a full-credit course using the Internet as a primary means of communication between the teacher and students. If you are interested in registering for an online course, please select from the categories listed below.

COURSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

Please choose the option that best fits your situtation:

You have indicated that you are registered (or will be registered) with Saskatoon Public Schools.

Registration Form

  • Please print a copy of the Registration Form.
  • Make an appointment with a guidance counsellor at your school and take the completed form with you to your appointment.
  • Please meet with a guidance counsellor at your school to discuss registering for an online learning class.
  • The counsellor will determine if you have the necessary prerequiste for the course and discuss your suitability for online learning.
  • Your guidance counsellor will fax your form to us at (306)657-3957.
Registration procedures will be displayed once an option is chosen.

You have indicated that you are registered (or will be registered) at a high school that is not a Saskatoon Public school.

Registration Form

  • Please print a copy of the Registration Form.
  • Make an appointment with a guidance counsellor (or principal) at your school and take the completed form with you to your appointment.
  • Please meet with a guidance counsellor (or principal) at your school to discuss registering for an online learning class.
  • Your school will need to approve the class and fill in their portion of the form then fax us the form to (306)657-3957.
  • Forward any questions to the OLC Registrar:

You have indicated that you currently reside in Saskatoon but do not attend high school.

COURSE FEES

You will need to pay fees to take an online course if:
  • You reside outside of Saskatoon
  • You are 22 years of age or older
  • You attend another school division (not SPS)

OLC Refund Policy for Fee-Paying Students
  1. The full tuition fee, minus a $25.00 per course administration fee, will be refunded if a student withdraws prior to the 15th calendar day following the student's official start date.

  2. One half of the total tuition fee will be refunded if a student withdraws prior to the established mid-point.
     
  3. No refund will be given if a student withdraws after the established mid-point.
     
  4. For the 2012 - 2013 school year, the mid-point of the semester is:
    • Semester Two midpoint - Thursday, March 28, 2013

    For the 2013-2014 school year, the mid-point of your course will be defined as 10 school weeks from your official start date.

NOTE: Students must formally withdraw from the class to receive a refund. Non-attendance is not considered as notification to withdraw from the class.
